Show Rules
1-Open to Everyone
2-Entry fee for each category 50p per person, children free entry
3-Admission to show £1.00, children and exhibitors free
4-Exhibits must be the exhibitor’s own work and in the case of vegetables, fruit, flowers, etc. grown in his or her allotment or garden. Only one entry per class, except for class A12
5-Clean plates are provided but exhibits can be shown on exhibitor’s own plates, dishes, containers etc. at their own risk; the organizers will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of display equipment or exhibits
6-All exhibits must be brought to the Royal Oak Acorn suite between 9-30 am and 11-00 am on the morning of the show
7-Exhibits unless marked “NOT FOR SALE” will be auctioned at the end of the day with the proceeds going to local charities
8-Exhibits must not be removed before 4pm
9-Any preserves exhibited in a container showing a trade name will be disqualified
10-All exhibits are judged by the Leicester and Leicestershire Horticultural Judge Guild to R.H.S. rules

All of these categories are open to “AMATEUR”
contestants only:
12-An entry form must be completed prior to entering an exhibit. Doing this ahead of time, speeds up the administration on the day.
